Season 5 of MultiVersus will be its last

MultiVersus is shutting down and ending its active development on May 30, 2025, as announced by Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games.
The fifth and final season starts on February 4, 2025, and will introduce two new characters: Aquaman and Lola Bunny.
Real money transactions have ended as of January 31, 2025, but players can still use remaining in-game currency until May 30, 2025.
After May 30, 2025, MultiVersus will no longer be available for download from any platforms, including Steam and the PlayStation Store.
