Umiujaq, Que. – The northern Quebec community is searching for a new source of drinking water now that its water reservoir is empty. When full, the reservoir can store about two years of water for the village, but researchers from Université Laval suspect climate change is to blame. The researchers will be returning to the area in the coming months to explore a new permanent water source. CBC News report
