- Faulkner suffered severe head injuries after being pulled from her car and assaulted by two individuals, reportedly armed with weapons, on the R494 near Birdhill.
- Gardaí are seeking information and camera footage related to the movements of two vehicles, a grey Ford Transit van and a blue Volkswagen Touran, around Birdhill between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm on the day of the incident.
