The search for a missing 38-year-old Westbrook man at Messerschmidt Pond resumed on Monday morning. The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Environmental Conservation Police (EnCon) are searching for the man in the pond. According to DEEP, a paddler found an unoccupied, overturned canoe on the banks of Messerschmidt Pond on Friday, Aug. 1.
