The Family Cardiopathy Unit of the General University Hospital of Ciudad Real has obtained the certificate of excellence of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, a recognition that only have 22 units throughout Spain. Created in 2018 as the first in Castilla-La Mancha, this multidisciplinary unit has already attended 2,299 patients from 841 families and exceeds 7,500 consultations in eight years.
