SDRF rescues over 50 pilgrims stranded in swollen river in Uttarakhand's Champawat

A major tragedy was averted at Sri Reetha Sahib Gurdwara in Champawat district. Over 50 pilgrims were trapped in a swollen river during the annual Jod Mela. A State Disaster Response Force team deployed in advance launched a swift rescue operation. All pilgrims were safely escorted across the river. No casualties were reported.
