A woman from Schenectady is accused of making up a story about finding a sewing needle in Halloween candy. Scotia Police said Christi Hosier, 27, posted on the “Scotia Glenville Current Events” Facebook page about finding the needle when she was inspecting her child’s candy. Hosier subsequently reported the incident to police.
