- On July 19, 2025, Shah Rukh Khan sustained a muscular injury at Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai, halting production.
- Since May this year, filming for King led to injuries, as Shah Rukh Khan’s history of performing his own stunts includes a December 2001 spinal injury.
- According to India Today, a source told the portal, Shah Rukh Khan traveled to the US for urgent medical attention and is recovering well.
- Production sources say all bookings at Film City, Golden Tobacco & YRF Studios are cancelled until further notice, impacting the July and August 2025 shooting schedule.
