Thank you, Laura Meloy, Political Focus Group member, for your column published March 12. I, too, feel disillusioned by recent events in both national and Iowa politics.

Is bullying a thing for children? Can it be described as childish or rather behaviors that end the psychological and even physical stability of a minor, his isolation, his self-esteem and in the worst of cases with his own life?
