A man who came from Turkey to the Netherlands to get married in Alphen aan den Rijn has appeared in court following a series of stalking incidents. Murat S. allegedly repeatedly harassed his ex-wife and later his cousin after his marriage broke down. According to the Public Prosecution Service, he also slandered the chairman of the Islamic Association of the Netherlands to Turkish government bodies, reports Omroep West.
