LUXEMBOURG – On 1 October 2026 the European Union (EU) Ministers of the Interior formally adopted the Regulation on the forced removal of irregular migrants. This decision had been validated by the European Parliament three months earlier. As a result, the foreigners concerned will have to leave the Member State in which they are located.
