Planned Power Outage Scheduled In Philipsburg Area

A planned power outage by FirstEnergy tomorrow night will disable 11 traffic signals in the Philipsburg area.  The outage will begin at 10:00 Saturday night, until 6:00 Sunday morning.  Impacted areas include Philipsburg Borough, Decatur and Rush Townships.  The outage is necessary for substation upgrades on East Pine Street in Philipsburg.  The affected traffic lights will lack regular power and must rely on battery backups or temporary stop si…
