- This flight builds on Sceye's Endurance Program, completed earlier this year when its SE2 HAPS traveled more than 10,000 km to Brazil; SoftBank Corp. invested in the company's stratospheric infrastructure in 2025.
- Operating at approximately 16.5 km altitude, the mission deployed SceyeCELL, a 'cell tower in the sky,' demonstrating edge computing with over 40% latency reduction compared to internet-based cloud processing.
- Sceye and SoftBank demonstrated mobile broadband, voice, and emergency communications during the test, proving one HAPS can cover the equivalent area of approximately 500 terrestrial towers.
