General Cemetery of Santiago receives a millionaire fine after finding 1,400 human remains in bags

In October 2024, 1,400 human remains were found in plastic bags, 600 of them unmarked and 800 labeled. In addition, they found urns in disuse and 17 uncapped drums with human remains after cremation.
