Swedish truck and bus manufacturer Scania, owned by Traton, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen group, will cut 750 jobs in order to adapt to "new market conditions", the company announced today.
Truck manufacturer Scania is cutting and laying off 750 people in Sweden. According to Scania, there may be further cuts in the other countries where the company operates.
Scania warns. 750 jobs will be lost in Sweden, the truck manufacturer says in a press release. – Our hope is that we will be able to find other solutions, says Mari Carlquist, chairman of the Unionen union in Södertälje.
