Scammed Out of 22 Million Yen Worth of Gold bars... "Purchase to Prove Your Innocence" - Instructed to Leave in Public Toilet

[Yomiuri Shimbun] On the 18th, the Saitama Prefectural Police Hanno Station announced that an unemployed woman (51) from Hanno City had fallen victim to a scam in which four gold bars (worth approximately 22 million yen) were stolen. According to the announcement, since May 23, the woman had been receiving calls from a man claiming to be a telecommunications company employee, telling her that her mobile phone had been used in crimes.
