While the Netherlands is enjoying its summer holidays, the ANWB Emergency Centre is operating at full capacity. Halfway through the season, over 450,000 breakdown reports have already been received, with as many as 15,000 calls and digital distress calls on peak days. A striking number of calls come from Scandinavia.
Since the end of June, the ANWB Emergency Centre has received over 450,000 reports from holidaymakers experiencing car breakdowns or other emergencies. On busy days, the organization reports that around 15,000 digital requests and phone calls are received. Common problems include flashing dashboard lights, starting problems, and flat tires.
