Breaking News - Breaking news... Scaffolding collapsed during metro construction in Beyoğlu. Five workers were injured during the accident. One of the injured workers, Selahattin Erdoğan (44), was taken to hospital but could not be saved despite all efforts at the hospital.
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) issued a statement regarding the collapse in Beyoğlu that claimed the life of one worker, stating, "No tunnel collapse occurred within the scope of the construction in question, and the incident was a work accident that occurred during the pouring of concrete at the station site. An investigation into the accident has been launched."
