- Sources allege Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust officials blocked the replacement, allowing outsourced employees earning monthly salaries between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000 to remain in their roles.
- Investigators recovered nearly Rs 80 lakh in cash and foreign currency from six of the eight accused, as the Special Investigation Team continues examining security lapses and procedural violations.
- Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati termed the alleged embezzlement "extremely serious and worrying" on Tuesday, urging temple management to adopt transparent donation accounting practices used by other renowned religious sites.
