A Louisiana staple is celebrating 70 years in business in 2025. From their humble roots in Opelousas, Savoie’s Foods has grown into not only a Louisiana brand, but one that is known throughout the country. Starting with the little grocery store in 1955, Eula and Tom Savoie got to work, buying land near the grocery store for a meat processing center.
