A man of 40 years of age was rescued this Monday, October 13 at about 10 a.m. by the helicopter teams of the Peloton de gendarmerie de haute montagne (PGHM) of Modane. He had left the day before, in the direction of the Pointe de Ronce, at an altitude of 3,600 meters but caught by the darkness, he had not been able to go down again...
An experienced hiker spent an improvised night at the beautiful star between Sunday and Monday, on a summit of Haute-Maurienne, in Savoie. He had left for the ascent of Pointe de Ronce, when he was surprised by the weather and the night. He called for help the next day.
