Six weeks after the announcement of the first case of nodular dermatosis in Entrelacs en Savoie, figures from veterinarians show a vaccination rate in the vaccine area exceeding 70% of the cattle concerned, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, on Tuesday 12 August, in a press release.
This viral disease caused the slaughter of hundreds of cattle in Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
While the Ministry of Agriculture has announced that it has crossed the course of 70% of vaccinated cattle in the restricted area in Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the actors in the field are talking about a rapid campaign, while already monitoring the next steps.

A month and a half after the outbreak of contagious nodular dermatosis in Savoy, the number of outbreaks detected is decreasing and more than 7 in 10 cattle were vaccinated in the restricted area, according to the Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday.
