SAUGERTIES — Police arrested a 44-year-old Saugerties man Tuesday evening on stalking and criminal contempt charges. Charles R. Soltys was taken into custody at about 5:10 p.m. Aug. 5 following a complaint to the Saugerties Police Department. The investigation resulted in Soltys being charged with stalking in the fourth degree and criminal contempt in the second degree, both misdemeanors.
