Riyadh: The Saudi-led military alliance in support of the internationally recognized government in Yemen declared Saturday an extensive operation against Iranian-backed Houthis, while the Houthis-based Al-Mashira channel reported attacks in north-western Yemen.

The Saudi-led coalition announced a new large-scale operation against the Houthis in Yemen, destroying 136 military targets. Continuous air support is being provided to the recognized government.

"136 military targets were destroyed in areas under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia," said Colonel Nouri al-Malki.
