Dhahran, October 9, 2025 Saudi Aramco announced the acquisition of an additional 22.5% stake in Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) from Sumitomo Chemical Company (Sumitomo) for US$702 million (SAR 7 per share). This acquisition makes Saudi Aramco the largest shareholder in Petro Rabigh, with an ownership stake of approximately 60%, while Sumitomo retains a 15% ownership stake.
