Saudi Arabia has concluded major agreements with the French companies Alstom and CMA CGM for the development of its port and rail infrastructure.
The first provides for the creation of a new terminal at the port of Djedda on the Red Sea, while the second is dedicated to the provision of additional trains for the metro lines of the Saudi capital.
The petromonarchy intends to strengthen its position as a global "hub" of trade and logistics by relying on tricolored know-how.
The CMA CGM group (owner of BFM Business) will participate in the creation of a new terminal at the port of Jeddah, while Alstom will provide additional trains for the Ryad metro.
