SAS plane had to turn around: Bird hit engine The plane took off from Flesland at 06.30 heading towards Oslo, but had to turn around shortly afterwards. The cause was a collision with a bird, which ended up in the plane's engine. SAS confirms this to VG. – There was a very strong gust from the engine, one of the passengers tells the newspaper.
