Sarah Pidgeon Steals Attention In An Elegant Purple Look At The 2026 Emmys
Pidgeon’s custom Chanel look nodded to Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and marked her first Emmy nomination for the limited series.
Actress Sarah Pidgeon arrived at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Monday night, celebrating her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for her role in Love Story.
Created by Connor Hines and produced by Ryan Murphy, Love Story earned seven Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, after becoming the network's most-watched limited series.
Pidgeon wore a custom lavender silk slip dress from Chanel featuring a drop-waist silhouette that paid homage to Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's style, accented with strings of pearls and diamond jewelry.
To prepare for the role, Pidgeon studied the publicist's life by listening to Elizabeth Beller's audiobook and reading Sunita Kumar Nair's fashion biography to understand the legacy she portrayed.
Celebrating her 30th birthday earlier this summer, Pidgeon attended the ceremony with her mother as her guest, calling the experience a special way to embrace this new chapter of adult life.
