Eagles star Saquon Barkley's home burglarized, police say
Detectives are seeking a white car linked to the break-in, and police said Barkley and his family were not harmed.
On Saturday morning, Tredyffrin Township Police responded to a reported burglary at the Malvern home of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, arriving around 5 a.m. after suspects had already fled.
Barkley and his family were unharmed during the incident, Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe confirmed, expressing relief that no injuries occurred.
Investigators are searching for a white SUV, possibly a GMC Yukon, connected to the break-in; Tredyffrin Township Police Capt. Tyler Moyer told The Inquirer that at least one person entered the residence.
Police reported no arrests have been announced and no similar criminal activity occurred in the area, indicating there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department Detective Division is investigating with assistance from the Chester County District Attorney; anyone with information should contact Detective Sgt. Stephanie Bills.
