The new trams of the Turkish company "Bozankaya", the first of a total of 25 purchased by the City of Belgrade for the City Transport Company (GSP), were officially put into service today on line 12L, which operates on the route Omladinski stadion - Most na Adi - New Belgrade (Block 45).
The Serbia Center Party (SRCE) asked Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Šapić why the new 25 trams purchased in Turkey will not go over the Ada Bridge, alluding that these trams are not in line with the technical needs of the city's railways, at least in that section.
Šapić announced today that from September 1, night lines of public city transport will be introduced for several more settlements, euronews serbia, euronews serbia, euronews serbia, euronews serbia, euronews, euronews
"Belgrade deserves far better quality public transportation like other European metropolises have," said the mayor.
The first of the 25 trams purchased from the Turkish "Bozankaya" will start running on Belgrade's streets from Tuesday, July 29, on line 12.
