The French pharmaceutical group Sanofi will give to the German company Cheplapharm 20 medicines marketed for a long time, three production sites dedicated to the anticoagulant Lovenox and, "in return", enter its capital. The Breton factory of Ploërmel in Morbihan is part of the lot.
Sanofi and Cheplapharm have been working together since 2014. Now the French are taking part in the German company. Cheplapharm will also be producing medicines for the first time in the future.
