A forest fire was still raging in the Andalusian province of Huelva, in southwestern Spain, on Sunday, and 470 local residents were evacuated as a precaution.
More than 500 people, including 250 members of the Emergency Military Unit, are mobilized to fight this fire, which has covered nearly 8,000 hectares and caused the preventive evacuation of approximately 470 people.

Over 150 firefighters worked overnight to stabilise the Niebla blaze, west of Sevilla. The fire has burned 4,000 hectares and displaced nearly 400 people. Air crews reinforced the Tírig fire in Castellón, east coast of Spain, at daybreak.
