San Anselmo council gets flood control project update

Plans to head off catastrophic flooding in the Ross Valley are progressing, if at a trickle. The San Anselmo Town Council meeting on Sept. 2 included an update on the county effort to remove “Building Bridge 2.” The project is part of the Marin County Flood Control District’s effort to lessen the effects of a 25-year flood, or the kind of severe flood that has a 4% chance of occurring in any given year.
