Samsung unveils its new line of foldable devices at Unpacked
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, JUL 10 – Samsung introduces a more affordable foldable with AI features, expanding its lineup with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and improved designs across devices, starting at $899.
- Samsung unveiled its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, during the Unpacked event this week in Brooklyn, New York.
- This launch followed last year’s release of the Z Fold 6, which received criticism for weaker battery life and slower charging compared to competitors.
- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 features a slimmer 8.9mm folded thickness, weighs 215 grams, has an 8-inch inner display 11% larger than its predecessor, and upgraded cameras including a 200MP main sensor.
- Preorders for the Z Fold 7 began today with a starting price set $100 higher than last year's model, and it will be widely available starting July 25.
