Aside from the fishing spree in the southern sea-grazing areas, the salmon fishing is starting to slow down. This is a traditional situation when August is well underway. Six years ago, more than a hundred salmon were caught per week, according to the latest figures. The Rangárnar rivers yielded over 1,100 salmon during the same period.
