Police say the 40-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolen property after officers spotted the truck on Lakeshore Drive NW.
- On Tuesday, July 28, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP arrested Bryce Inglehart, 32, after locating him behind the wheel of a stolen U-Haul in Coldstream.
- A member of the public flagged down a patrolling officer around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, helping police locate the stolen vehicle parked at a nearby gas station.
- Further police checks identified Inglehart as a prohibited driver; officers also arrested a female passenger who was later released pending further investigation.
- Inglehart faces charges of possession of stolen property and five counts of failing to comply with a release order after his initial court appearance Wednesday.
