In a viral audio clip, a woman alleged that M. Manikandan (40) had sexually assaulted her, recorded it on his mobile phone and threatened to release the video online. Meanwhile, TVK said the accused is not associated with the party.
Manikandan, a resident of Neykarapatti area of Salem district, had filed a sexual complaint against a woman while he was running a grocery shop. She had also reported that Manikandan had been filming several women in pornographic videos and threatening them to satisfy the desires of his friends.
