NH DES, town of Londonderry reach agreement with Saint-Gobain for water main extension

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the town of Londonderry have both reached an agreement with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics to extend a water main.

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, which has been linked to the contamination of water supplies in southern New Hampshire with “forever chemicals,” has agreed to provide clean drinking water to some of the affected residents in Londonderry.

Saint-Gobain is going to be paying more than one-point-five million dollars to make sure Londonderry residents have safe drinking water. The company will extend a water main on High Range Road north about two miles from Royal Lane to Alexander Road in that community.
