Safer or creepy? Half of parents track their adult kids’ whereabouts
Half of parents occasionally track the location of their adult children aged 18 to 25, according to an American study.
One in four parents who track their adult child's location feel more anxious rather than reassured, according to the University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children's Hospital National Poll.
Poll co-director Sarah Clark noted concerns about the appropriateness of parental location tracking as children become young adults.
More than two-thirds of tracking parents keep the location feature always on, and nearly all tracked adult children know about it.
