The video shows the aircraft, designated "A3-01," with a delta-wing design, a single jet engine, and two air intakes on either side of the fuselage. The fuselage clearly shows that much attention has been paid to a low-stealth design. Hartpunkt reported that the overall design suggests the aircraft could fly at supersonic speeds - although Saab has not yet confirmed its speed characteristics.
