- Ten Doeschate's appointment follows his two-year tenure as assistant coach for the India men's team under head coach Gautam Gambhir, a role that concluded after the white-ball series in England.
- Group CEO Venky Mysore said, "His deep understanding of our philosophy, combined with his experience across franchise and international cricket, makes him ideally suited for this role," as ten Doeschate reunites with KKR head coach Abhishek Nayar.
- Beyond his strategic role, ten Doeschate will serve as assistant coach for TKR, ADKR, and LAKR, building a consistent cricketing philosophy across the entire Knight Riders network.
