NATO has condemned Russia's "irresponsible nuclear rhetoric", contained in a text sent by Moscow to alliance officials denouncing "provocations" against the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. "We strongly condemn the threat of resorting to (military) force, including any irresponsible nuclear rhetoric," said Alison Hart, confirming that NATO had received the document and responded to it.
