It has recently made the news once more in the tennis world with Dayana Yastremska speaking up on what it was like to find out that her family's apartment...
A few days ago, a Russian missile destroyed Dayana Yastremska's apartment in an attack on Odessa, and the Ukrainian tennis player shared photos of the destruction on social media. She was met with not only supportive and sympathetic responses, Serbian tennis coach Vladimir Odobasic wrote a comment under the post: "Bravo Russia."
The Russian attacks on Odessa also hit the family home of Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska. The house suffered heavy damage in the intense bombardment, and almost all of Yastremska's belongings, accumulated over many years, were destroyed. Interestingly, a Roland Garros towel, a symbol of her tennis career, survived intact amidst the rubble.
In Russia's missile and drone attacks on Odessa, the family home of Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska was severely damaged. While much of her memories were destroyed, it was noteworthy that her towel from Roland Garros survived the wreckage intact.
