Russian officials say at least 16 wounded in Ukrainian drone attacks on two cities

- According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the systems intercepted 44 Ukrainian drones between late Wednesday and early Thursday, including seven over annexed Crimea, plus nine over Volgograd and two over Belgorod, and destroyed eight between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- In the Belgorod region, authorities said a drone crash wounded three people, including a man with shrapnel wounds and his wife with burns, while debris caused an oil spill and fire at a Volgograd refinery.
- Subsequently, authorities declared a local state of emergency and Rostov Mayor Aleksandr Skryabin said residents were evacuated to a nearby school's temporary accommodation center.
