Russian guided bombs hit Zaporizhzhia city and outskirts, injuring 26 including a child, damaging two apartment blocks and igniting fires, officials said.

- Photos at the scene showed firefighters extinguishing flames while first responders treated victims, and Ukraine's state emergencies service said rubble clearing was ongoing; 70-year-old Valentyna Sumachova said, `All the walls collapsed,' and a cat was rescued.
- Authorities warned there may be more people under the rubble and a separate strike in Zaporizhzhia Oblast injured one woman, while Ukraine's Foreign Ministry wrote it was 'Once again, civilian areas- homes, schools and everyday spaces- have been deliberately targeted.'
