Russian arrested at Phuket airport with 17.6kg of cannabis

PHUKET: A Russian national has become the latest foreign traveller arrested at Phuket International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle cannabis out of Thailand, after authorities discovered more than 17kg of cannabis flowers and cannabis resin concealed inside two suitcases. The arrest is the third major cannabis export case at the airport in just over a week.
