Russia strikes Kyiv, other cities hours after US sanctions passed

- Firefighters worked at the site of a Russian drone strike in Kyiv as smoke rose around the damaged buildings, responding to the destruction from the latest wave of attacks.
- Mayor Vitali Klitschko highlighted that residential structures were not spared, with the damaged buildings joining a growing list of frequent targets in the ongoing conflict.
