After Ukraine launched a serious attack on Russian air bases, Moscow made a drastic decision: it redeployed some of its strategic bombers to a difficult-to-access base in the far east of the country.

The bombers were taken to the Anadyr Air Force Base. Analysts suspect that the step serves to protect the aircraft.
