5/31/26 A dispute over charcoal reportedly led to a rural Solon man assaulting his neighbor and possibly facing decades in prison. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Jacob Ray of Quincy Road walked to a neighbor’s house on Dillons Furrow Road just before 7:45 Saturday night to ask if he could borrow some charcoal.
