The second World Humanoid Robot Games have kicked off in Beijing. More than 2,000 robots from 16 countries are competing against each other in dozens of events, where the sometimes somewhat clumsy participants make for striking and comical scenes.

The second edition of the World Humanoid Games kicked off in China on Saturday. The competition will run for five days and has already included a robot running faster than Usain Bolt’s 100m sprint world record.
